I love giving people new experiences in the mountains, increasing their personal skills as they journey towards independence, and helping them understand more about their surroundings. I enjoy developing and reflecting on my own skills to this more skillfully.
As part of this, I run Northern Aspect which offers guided walks, environmental days, navigation coaching and climbing coaching. I am a provider of Mountain Training's Hill and Mountain Skills Scheme and I run bronze and silver National Navigation Award Scheme training and assessment courses.
I am an experienced ML as well as an experienced orienteer. I am a UKCC Level 2 orienteering coach and have put a lot of time and effort into making my navigation training functional and efficient no matter where you are planning on using these skills.
