Lee Farmer is an accomplished explorer, mountaineer and motivational speaker who has trekked and climbed through some of the world's most remote and sometimes fearsome places, to come back with inspirational messages. The 'ordinary guy doing extraordinary things,' his greatest achievement was completing the Seven Summits Mountaineering Challenge - the challenge to reach the top of each continent's highest mountain.Of these, Lee became the 180th Briton to scale Everest, a feat made special by achieving it on the first attempt, unguided, and the only member of his seven-man team to succeed, proving that he is very much his own determined man.
Lee has been to the South Pole, Antarctica, three times, and has climbed a further 12 world high points. He is a qualified international mountain leader and rock climbing instructor, who organises everything from walking weekends in Scotland to memorable exploration trips through arid desert environments of remote African national parks. Driven by an enduring passion for exploring new territories, a fierce determination to conquer extreme challenges, and a love of adventure, he has amassed a vast treasure chest of experience and knowledge. Lee is a regular media personality after becoming the 180th Briton to have summited Everest reaching the top of the world on his first attempt. He has also joined an elite band of mountaineers by completing mountaineering's most coverted prize; The Seven Summits (the quest to reach each continent's highest point).

He has also undertaken expeditions to the remote places like Antarctica, Alaska, Borneo, and sub-saharan Africa. As well as summiting many UK and Alpine peaks, Lee has completed Great Britain's toughest trek the Cape Wrath Trail and sub-saharan Africa's toughest trek the Namib-Naukluft Trail.

Lee Farmer is an accomplished explorer, mountaineer and motivational speaker who has trekked and climbed through some of the world's most remote and sometimes fearsome places, to come back with inspirational messages.
He completed the Seven Summits Mountaineering Challenge; the quest to reach every continental high point in 2011. He has been to the South Pole, Antarctica, three times, and has climbed 12 world high points as well as many UK and Alpine peaks. He has also trekked through some of the world's most inhospitable environments such as jungles and deserts, regularly exploring remote regions of Africa, the Himalayas and South America, sometimes as an expedition leader.
In the outdoors, I'm very much my own man, and it's in my inner psyche to challenge myself, get out there and become part of that huge world. I perform well in those environments, pushing limits and coming back stronger in life. I lead teams of intrepid youngsters or adults into the wild and am proud to be a qualified International Mountain Leader (IML). Having regard to the safety and enjoyment as well as the well being of myself and members of groups I lead is paramount. The skills, management, and discipline the MTA qualifications bestow are at the core of these principles.
