Many years ago I left the security of a Career in Outdoor Education & Sport, pursuing a full time Career Guiding, Leading Trekking, Snowshoeing holidays throughout Europe & beyond. My IML qualifications helped facilitate this, allowing me to work legitimately across the EU for the next 23 years. Spending over 32 weeks each year in the mountains, snowshoeing & skiing in winter, trekking in the summer months. Over the years, hut to hut treks, gave way to hotel based treks, mostly in the Italian Dolomites at a popular Wellness Hotel, the thrill of being out in the mountains was always there, along with an enthusiasm to lead and continually learn more.
Since Brexit began to raise its head & Covid limited our ability to travel I began to introduce U.K. based walks. Wellness Walking Days, Woodland & Nature Wellness Therapy and also U.K. Walking Breaks. I now enjoy facilitating a Mountain & Wellness Walking group with over 1,000 members & enjoy the company of some lovely people walking in the UK.
