Based in Hertfordshire, Skinner is a GB Climbing Coach for the Southeast / London region and has delivered NICAS schemes throughout the UK since 2008. He was previously a Level 5 NICAS Course Director, and as head of the NICAS Coach Development Team has inducted numerous coaches, Technical Advisors and coach developers into the schemes since 2018. Skinner helped develop NICAS ‘Wild Climbers’ and NICAS ‘Clip’ and has delivered, and trained others in the delivery of these schemes nationwide and internationally. Skinner has experience of route setting and structural maintenance within climbing walls and has previously completed IRATA (Level 1) and High Ropes Inspection qualification. He recently completed the UK Coaching Horizon Programme for coach development.
