I am a keen, energetic and passionate coach.
I've been involved with many expeditions, ranging from working on the Catlin Artic Survey to school overseas development expeditions, exploring numerous continents and countries. As well as holding a BSc degree in Geography and Outdoor Education and being a PGCE qualified teacher, I love delivering climbing courses.
I am currently working toward my RCDI.
I am passionate about engaging females and under represented groups with the outdoor sector.
I want to offer courses and create an environment where female clients feel safe, comfortable and engaged; receiving coaching that is tailored to suit the individual needs.

I am a keen, enthusiastic climber and educator. I want to increase female participation in the climbing arena, and will continue to do this through my coaching. I engage with supporting women transitioning from indoor climbing, into the outdoor world. Climbing can be incredibly empowering and an amazing teaching tool.
I am the co-owner of West Country Adventures; a small South Devon based company, where we focus on developing small groups and individuals in bouldering, indoor climbing, sport climbing and traditional climbing. I am also currently the lead Coach for Plymouth Life Centre, helping the Manager by overseeing and delivering on the youth competition squad.
I work with a range of clients, with a broad range of ages, abilities, goals, using different techniques to support their development.
I have worked in the outdoor sector since 2004. Graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007, having completed a BSc in Geography and Outdoor Studies. I call on all of these skills when teaching and coaching, aiming to deliver engaging courses and coaching.
Working for World Challenge Expeditions from 2012 to 2020 has allowed me to work overseas, travelling to remote and far-off places. These developmental expeditions really allowed me to develop my leadership skills.
During the first part of my career, I focused on water-based coaching, attaining my Level 3 Kayak Coach, UKC Paddlesport and 4-star Sea Leader. In 2016 I focused my attention and time to develop my land-based knowledge, skills and qualifications.
I completed my PGCE (teaching qualification) in Further Education in 2012, later working at South Devon College within the Outdoor Adventure department.
My awards have allowed me to access working with a wide range of diverse groups of people.
I love the fact that 1 day is never the same as the next. The people, the environment all make it special and unique.

I have known Victoria in a personal and professional capacity for many years. Having climbed with her it's clear that she is super keen and competent, having an unquestionable passion for it. This passion for climbing is also clear to see when working with Victoria. She is one of the best instructors and coaches I've had the pleasure of working with and have employed her numerous times on RCI courses, as well as having her along to observe on an RCDI. Victoria has a talent for sharing her love of climbing with course candidates and has developed an impressive teaching style.

Tori is an incredibly passionate and talented climber, enjoying the diverse range of climbing - bouldering, sport as well as adventurous traditional protected routes. Her ability as an instructor and as a coach surpasses many of her peers, thanks to her attention to detail, her thirst for broadening her knowledge and her reflective abilities, which means that she is continually working out how to improve what she does. Not necessarily for her own benefit, but for the individuals that she works with. I have no problem at all supporting her application to join the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor scheme.
