Hi, Hope your having a great day.
After going to a few outdoor centres as a kid, decided that I wanted to do outdoor activities. So...
I studied outdoor education at Holme Lacy for 2 years. I started to volunteer at a local charity ( bush craft and outdoor pursuits). Once I finished college, I did 6 months at PGL (Little Canada). Always working towards qualifications. I worked as a lifeguard and free lancer for a few years, then got a job at Top barn Activity Centre as an instructor. After working there for a few years, I moved on into the hospitality industry and worked to gaining more qualifications and as a freelancer/ self employed outdoor Instructor.
I now work at the Pioneer centre as a senior Instructor.
I have experience working on most activities and am qualified in many areas.
I Have my ML, RCI, first aid instructor and many more qualifications.
I have just started to work towards MCI .
I love been in the outdoors, whether its by myself or as part of a group. Getting away from the world to bring a bit of peace into my life. What I love about having the qualifications under my belt? Is been able to get people out of their normal environments and to help them challenge themselves or just to escape the madness of life.
