I am a Freelance Outdoor Instructor and the owner of Adventure Pursuits Ltd which provides guiding, coaching and tuition in all types of outdoor activities.
I am a qualified Mountain Leader - (ML) both Summer & Winter and holder of the Rock Climbing Instructor Award (RCI) formerly Single Pitch Award (SPA). I am also an International Mountain Leader (IML), having passed my Summer Assessment in July 2022 and my Winter Assessment in January 2023.
I have experience of working, supervising and leading groups of adults and children at Outdoor Education Centres, Indoor Climbing Walls, outdoor crags and in the mountains of England, Wales and Scotland. As a Duke of Edinburgh Assessor up to Gold level, I also work with AALA providers, youth groups & schools involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
I can provide guided Mountain Bike tours and riding instruction as I am a Trail Cycle Leader having qualified through the MBLA (Mountain Bike Leadership Award). I also deliver Road Cycling Tours in the UK and abroad as I'm a British Cycling Ride Leader Level 1 & 2. For more information visit www.britishcycling.org.uk

Previously I was a Scuba Diving Instructor, having taught in UK waters, the Mediterranean & The Red Sea.
