Andy is a freelance Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Instructor, Consultant and Technical Advisor, who holds the highest UK Award of the WMCI.
He is a Provider of Training and Assessment Courses for the following Mountain Training Awards: Mountain Leader Award, Hill & Moorland Leader Award, Lowland Leader Award, Indoor Climbing Assistant, Climbing Wall Instructor, and Climbing Wall Development Instructor.
Andy also offers Climbing Coaching, Leadership Skills Training and guided climbs and scrambles.
He is a BMC Approved Technical Expert, Approved Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme Expedition Assessor (to Gold Level), and currently Chairs the BMC Training, Youth & Walls Committee.
Andy represents the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) on Mountain Training Cymru, where he is currently the Technical Director, and also acts as Remit Officer for AMI.
