Andy has run manzoku Climbing & Mountaineering since 1997 and is dedicated to providing the best possible training for climbers, climbing instructors, hill walkers and walk leaders. Manzoku operates in four key areas:
Training - Rock Climbing Instructor, Climbing Wall Instructor, Climbing Wall Development Instructor and Indoor Climbing Assistant training and assessment; tailored climbing skills courses for all climbers wishing to learn new techniques or brush up their skills prior to assessment or before a big trip. Hill & Mountain Skills training to safely enjoy the UK's mountains and training, development and assessment for the Lowland Leader Award for future walk leaders.
Coaching - 1:1 coaching for movement skills, psychology of performance and anxiety control in climbing; Andy is a qualified Personal Fitness Trainer and brings these skills to developing personalised training plans to develop climbing strength and endurance.
Guiding - If you want to head off the beaten track, experience the joys of scrambling or savour one of the UK's classic rock routes in the company of a skilled instructor, we can provide you with a memorable, exciting and enjoyable experience.
Consultancy - Technical Advice for all aspects of indoor and outdoor rock-climbing and hill walking, in-house training and assessment programmes, safety provision for film, tv and media or just advice on a good place to climb and walk. Andy can draw on more than 35 years of climbing, hill walking and outdoor industry experience.
