My passion lays with introducing others to the outdoors, and through my company I am fortunate enough to do that all year round.
In my free time, much like may instructors, I can still be found out among it. Whether it be going for a fell run, climb, scramble, or simple a pootle around a lake with the wife, dog and camera.
Always keen for an adventure and constantly seek out opportunities for development, but more importantly, fun!

After leaving University with a First Class honors degree in Adventure Tourism Management I soon completed my Summer Mountain Leader Award (2011). At the time I was guiding full time in the hills of the Lake District, and after just one more year I completed my Single Pitch Award (2012). At the end of 2012 my degree and qualifications were utilised further as I set up Lakeland Mountain Guides. Now a business owner I had more of a grip on how I was going to use my awards. The company provides a variety of activities, from guided walks and challenge events, right through to rock climbing and skills courses. At the start of 2016 I finally completed my Winter Mountain Leader Award, opening my year up massively.
