Profile

I am an IML currently living near Marrakech in Morocco. I can offer all kinds of treks in the Atlas Mountains. I am very familiar with the Toubkal area, as well as more remote areas off the tourist trail, where I can help you to discover the authentic Berber mountain life. I am fluent in English, French, and can get by in Berber. I also lead trail runs in the Atlas Mountains and have a dedicated website for this: trailrunmorocco.com
I have many years of experience of working with mountain and desert peoples across Africa, and have even co-led expeditions to remote nomadic communities as far afield as Siberia and Mongolia. I hold qualifications in Conservation and Wildlife Management, and am a keen advocate for preserving the world's remaining wild places.
