I live locally on the Isle of Skye and my work takes me all around the highlands.
Running my company Skye Mountaineering gives me plenty of opportunity to guide, instruct and facilitate adventures in the Cuillin as my primary area of operating, however I also regularly work in Lochaber and the Cairngorms.
My approach is that each of my clients should leave there day with me having had a great experience, learned something and be better equipped for their future adventures. I specialise in working at my client's pace and being lead by their aims and aspirations for the day.

I started out climbing everything I could as a kid, growing up in somerset we regularly went to great climbing venues to walk the dogs so I naturally explored the rock. Then as I got older I started going on an adventure camp in north Wales and started top roping on upper Tremadog. I did a learn to climb course through school and at that point started to think about being an instructor. Some years on and I trained and started work in a centre and hold various NGB's including SPA and ML(s). I used these tickets to help train our instructors throughout the year as well as when I got the opportunity to take groups off site. I was fortunate enough to be able to go on the Jonathan Conville scotland course in 2013 which awakened a love of winter climbing.
After relocating to the isle of Skye and having a great trip to the alps in 2019 I decided to launch my business sharing amazing environments with others.
