Having gained Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (formerly MIC) in my younger days, I have been a holder of this award for 30 years, I am a member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors and the Mountain Training Association and a former accredited trainer and assessor for Mountain Training England and the Duke of Edinburgh’s award.
I enjoy using experiential learning for the development of teams and individuals and for those who wish to lead in business or the outdoors and recognise that the outdoors is the ideal environment to help people realise their full potential.
I am a technical advisor to companies and able advise and inspect schools, colleges and businesses in the maintenance, provision and best practice of outdoors adventure in the UK and overseas.
Based in South West England and available for mountain guiding, teaching and coaching in UK or overseas
As time allows I enjoy guiding teams overseas on adventure expeditions and have led trips for adults
and teenagers to East Africa, including many ascents of Mt Kilimanjaro; Morocco, Peru and Bolivia, Nepal and Norway and in the European Alps to: Switzerland, Slovenia, France and Italy.
