My focus as a Mountaineering Instructor is sharing my passion, whether it's introducing people to the mountains or developing the skills and performance of ambitious climbers.
Outside of work I'm a performance climber and like to find my limit at the end of a rope, which has lead me to sport climb up to 8c and trad climb up to E9.
I'd like to thank DMM and Scarpa UK for supporting me as a climber.

I've now been climbing for around twelve years, in which time climbing has developed from a hobby into a lifestyle. In the past few years I've made my home among the mountains in North Wales, where I work as an Mountaineering Instructor. Now I work and travel to climb, whether it's in the UK, Europe or further afield.
My greatest experiences outdoors have been pushing my limit on sport climbs in the Frankenjura, attempting an unclimbed big wall in Brazil and walking a very fine line on Indian Face at Cloggy.

Angus is a well travelled and very competent rock climber who is as comfortable on an E7 at Nesscliffe as he is bouldering at Hampi or doing long routes in North Wales. Angus spends the winter training on local walls and he is very strong. I have personally witnessed him climbing 8a boulders, E7 at Nesscliffe and E6s at Cloggy. I have also seen him teaching rock climbing and hillwalking and he is developing good skills in this area. He has been assessed in various gorges in N Wales and leads groups for various centres in these areas. Angus will be a good MIA candidate.
