I have always enjoyed the outdoors but fell in love with the mountains properly 20 years ago, as I unzipped my tent on the first morning high up on the Inca Trail, and saw clouds floating below me. That view changed my life.
But not straight away – it took a few more walking and climbing trips (and getting hit by a falling rock in Nepal) before I decided that I could no longer ignore my passion for the mountains.
As an International Mountain Leader and ML(S), I enjoy working with all sorts of people – from DofE groups to private guiding (walking and Grade 1 scrambling) and navigation coaching. Helping someone become more confident in the amazing playground that it is the outdoors is a great privilege.
