I could not think of a better candidate. Anthony has extensive knowledge and experience in leading and working in the mountain environment. He also has an open and approachable manner that suits the role of a potential mountain leader. Anthony has conducted a number of assistant leading roles for me and his knowledge, understanding and inter personal skills are fantastic.

Anthony Evans is a true outdoor enthusiast with a wide range of skills. Navigation - with a well drilled military background his navigation is spot on, he can deal with various scales and map types, but also read the ground and contours extremely accurately. He is also well versed at getting this across to other candidates. Environment - a very sound knowledge on the countryside, geology and history of various upland areas within the UK. He also has very good wood/camp craft (lighting fires, building camps and outdoor foraging/cooking) and readily passes these skills on to others. Man-management - Anthony is fully capable of leading a team of any mix clients. He has an engaging nature and communicates well. Health/Well-being/First Aid - as a former medical professional he is well versed in many areas. Providing first aid training and knowledge, but also deeper information with regards to on going personal health and well-being. I have worked with Anthony on a number of occasions over the last two years and it has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I always come away with a few more nuggets of information.
