Hi all,
My love affair with the outdoors goes back to camping and walking on Dartmoor with my father back in my early teens. From here I was lucky enough to conduct the Ten Tors, 45 mile expedition which cemented my love of the outdoors. Since then I have trekked and sea kayaked around Norway for a month back in the summer of 2000, worked as a multi-activity instructor for PGL, climbed Aneto in the Pyrenees and had numerous adventures in the UK.
I left the Army in 2015 and decided to finally go for my ML Award in December 2016, having registered back in 2007!!! I routinely support schools with Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors Training. Both of which are greatly rewarding in passing on the basics to a new generation of adventurers . I live and work in London but routinely can be seen on a Friday night heading up to Snowdonia from Euston.
I am most looking forward to passing on my interest in the outdoors to my son, just as soon as he is able to walk.
