Keith has a breadth and depth of experience in the outdoor industry gained over a 35yr career. Employment includes activity delivery at LEA outdoor education centres, youth and corporate development work and the delivery of climbing courses and mountaineering awards at The National Mountain Centre, Plas y Brenin.
He is a committed climber and alpinist who has climbed extensively throughout the world to a high level. He delivers instruction and guiding in the UK in both summer and winter. Outdoor qualifications include the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and International Mountain Leader. Through his work on instructor training and assessment courses he has influenced the development of a large percentage of the UK’s climbing instructors. He has worked on over 400 Mountain Training courses for a variety of providers.
As a long standing member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI) Keith sits on the AMI committee with responsibility for Professional Standards and is an AMI Trainee Workshop Trainer.
