I have been providing navigation courses for individuals and small groups for the past twenty years, covering basic navigation skills and also an advanced navigation course. These have been designed to run over two/three days in an appropriate setting. For example the Basic Navigation course has been undertaken in the Chilterns, Wiltshire Downs, South Downs etc. whereas the Advanced Navigation Course has only been undertaken in the mountain areas of England and Wales (primarily Wales).
I am also an approved Duke of Edinburgh Gold level Expedition Assessor. I enjoy passing on the skills of interpreting maps and fieldwork, having had experience of walking and climbing in Europe and further afield.
