I've known Craig as both a friend and work colleague for 10 years. We have worked Scottish winters and alpine trekking trips together, as well as climbing extensively in the UK. I have the greatest respect for Craig, his work ethics are of the highest standard. Always keeping his students' welfare and safety at the fore front of his mind. He is a simply a great bloke to work with .

Craig is a very experienced mountain walker and rock climber, and is also a qualified canoe and ski instructor. He served for many years in the army and has a wealth of experience in leadership roles in the outdoor environment. He has a great manner, is considerate and thoughtful and gets on very well with the adults and young people with whom he works. As a mountain leader, he inspires total confidence and is always calm, clear and decisive. I have worked with him for many years at King Edward's School and he has always been a committed and extremely valuable colleague to have had on any number of outdoor trips, be that mountain walking, rock climbing or on the ski trip. He is hugely respected by pupils and staff alike for his dedication, tireless effort and good nature. He would make an excellent IML.
