Hi, 

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. 

I spend most of my time using my skills learned in the outdoors along with the qualifications listed below to provide specialist Remote Location Safety for Films and TV shows, in addition to this I also spend my winters as a Guide and Adventure Safety Consultant for Luxury Adventure Travel Companies operating in Antarctica. As you would expect, most of this work takes me abroad and so my aim for this year is to find more work closer to home (North Wales), so please contact me for any outdoor activities, first aid courses, corporate abseils, rigging and rescue cover or anything else you might need help with.

UKCC Level 2 Coach, British Canoeing Kayak 4* Leader and 4* Canoe Leader Training , 3* Sea Kayak, SUP DSM, WWSR. 

RYA: Advanced Powerboat Certificate of Competence, Sea Survival, First Aid at Sea, Short Range Certificate, Competent Crew, Yachtmaster Offshore (Shorebased) and Yachtmaster Ocean (Shorebased). PADI: Divemaster. 

MBL, Park Tools 3 Day MTB Maintenance Course. 

Enhanced DBS (with update service), BCU Online Certificate in Safeguarding Children (Paddlesafe). 

Extensive experience from 19 years of freelance work and over 5 years of working full-time at the Joint Service Mountain Training Centre on Anglesey and Llanrwst. 

Experience of high profile charity abseils & zip lines including Liverpool Cathedral, Newport Transporter Bridge, Pistyll Rhayader, Fishguard Harbour & Millenium Stadium). 

Alpine Mountaineering experience

Keen alpine skier (BASI 1 Alpine qualified) with ski touring (including Arctic) experience, Military - Ski Leader 1. I also competed in the 2012 and 2013 National Telemark championship. 

Rescue Qualifications:

Whitewater Rescue Technician Advanced, Rope Rescue Technician, Rope Rescue Supervisor, Rope Rescue Instructor, IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor.

Medical qualifications:

First Response Emergency Care Level 4, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Advanced Wilderness Life Support, Polar Serpent, WEMSI Wilderness EMT. MBL 

Academic Qualifications: Diploma in Specialist Rescue, NEBOSH National General Certificate, Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector. Level 4 Certificate in Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute. Level 5 Award for Professional Recognition in Leadership and Management from City and Guilds, AfCGI (Leadership and Management). Upper Second Class (2.1) BA(Hons) in Outdoor Leadership from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) 

Achievements: Atlantic Row (2014) - World Record - Fastest Boat of 8, Eryri Marathon (2015) - 3 Hours 36 Minutes
