Nick Read is the managing director of Pride Expeditions. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America and is a successful climber and mountaineer. He has led trekking and climbing trips in Nepal, India, Morocco, Ecuador and Peru. He is also a keen environmentalist and naturalist with a comprehensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the mountainous regions. You will learn lots from him as well as being inspired by his enthusiasm and drive.

Having gained my Mountain Leader Award in 2002 I have been actively working in the outdoors for many successive years. Whenever I feel skills fade starting to set in I move on to the next level of qualifications. I have thoroughly enjoyed the process of going through the qualifications then consolidating my skills both through working in Outdoor Education centers and leading overseas expeditions.
