Scott has a career in Outdoor Delivery and Adventure Training. Scott spent several years skiing and mountaineering in Canada before returning to Scotland and joining the Instructor Development Scheme at Glenmore Lodge. He later joined the Royal Air Force as a Physical & Adventurous Training Instructor specialising in adventurous outdoor and resilience programmes Head of Training at RRC Grantown-on Spey responsible for the management and safe delivery of a broad range of NGB, expedition and training programmes in UK and overseas.
Scott holds a BA (Hons) in Outdoor Leadership Studies and completed the MIC and Joint Service Mountain Guide Award with remits to instruct and guide on glacial alpine terrain. A keen Scottish winter climber Scott has also led expeditions to the Himalaya, Greenland, Canada, Spain, Norway, Sweden and many Alpine areas. A coaching all-rounder Scott is expert skier and canoeist having completed his International Ski Instructors (ISIA) licence and Advanced Leadership Awards. Scott is currently employed the Guide co-ordinator at Wilderness Scotland, a member of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team and also undertakes part time outdoor freelance, TV and film safety work.
