I have known Dave for about 6 years since we worked together on 3 Peak events as Mountain Leaders. Since then we have climbed together in Scotland during the summer and winter months where I have found Dave to be a competent and well organised climber. He demonstrates great resilience and sound judgement in the mountains, something that he continues to build on by being active in the outdoors. He is professional in an environment that he obviously loves, running his successful business Lochaber Guides in a manner that warrants success. Through this business Dave has worked on most of the British mountain ranges and taken valuable time out of his schedule to shadow local guides and instructors to help gain experience in his chosen field. I have no doubt that Dave will progress through the Mountain Instructor scheme and continue to work at the high standard he has set himself so far.

Dave has always been a diligent and professional mountaineering instructor and leader. It's been a pleasure to work with him over several years.
