In 2005 I started my bucket list - to be on top of a munro above the clouds! Well it is now 2014 and still to be achieved - out in early winter and late winter pursuing my goal. To date I have racked up a modest 53 munros and completed my Walking Group Leader award - next on the list is the Mountain Group Leader - probably in 2015? With my WGL award I have become a Duke of Edinburgh Expedition leader and also achieved my Duke of Edinburgh's Assessors badge.
I do enjoy taking my little crew of kids out on the hills as they enjoy the outdoors for sometimes the first time without the car and mum and dad! They absolutely love it (except when going up hill with a back pack - ha ha ha!)
Today is 25/02/2014 ready for another year!
Well we have got to 02/01/15 - still to complete my bucket list! this year I ventured into Glencoe - man that is a tough hill range, straight up and the steps created are like two in your house at a time, in the end no veiws but I will be back!
