Welcome to my MTA pages! I've been a keen hill walker for just over 20 years and grew up on the hills of South Wales. My first adventures on more technical ground were in Snowdonia on the likes of Tryfan, Crib Goch and Cnicht. My early hillwalking and scrambling days with the family has inspired a passion for exploring the British countryside and passing on knowledge and skills to others.
I have experience of waking and wild camping in all mountain areas of the UK in both summer and winter. Leading groups is my passion and I have 8 years experience of leading and managing groups in a wide range of conditions.
Walking in the British hills is very much a journey of discovery and I have a strong interest in the natural and human processes that built the unique landscapes of the British Isles.
