I am a Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor (MCI) and climbing Development Coach based in Newcastle upon Tyne. With my wife, Caroline I run Adventure Training North East, a small but pro-active company offering a wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities across the UK and abroad. I have 35 years of climbing experience; Trad climbing and bouldering across the UK; Sport Climbing throughout Europe and the Middle East; trekking and mountaineering in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.
My real passion is teaching / coaching in the outdoors. I am an ex-teacher and will never lose the thrill of seeing people develop their skills and grow in confidence. I will always work hard to exceed your expectations.
I deliver courses for Mountain Training - Climbing Wall Instructor; CWI Abseil Module; Hill Skills; Mountain Skills; Rock Skills. Each year I work on summer Mountain Leader Training and Assessment courses.
