The following are ESSENTIAL! Please bring your own OR Beg/ Steal/ Borrow (can be borrowed from Plas y Brenin – contact jon.green@pyb.co.uk to arrange)
Drysuit.
Buoyancy aid/PFD
Helmet
Throwbag
Technical equipment – ropes/ krabs/ slings.
Walking poles
Please also bring with you the following…
Thermal layers for under the drysuit (including thick socks)
Gloves/Hat/Duvet jacket – to wear on the bank
Method for taking notes/pictures.
Wetsuit gloves (if you have any)
Neoprene skull cap (if you have one)
‘Expedition kit’…. A rucksack packed to approximate an expedition weight/size bag that can get (very) wet.
If you own a ‘DryRobe’ this is THE course to bring it along!
Flask.
