Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

You can book and pay for the Climbing Wall Instructor Assessment directly through the website.
You need to have completed the Climbing Wall Instructor Training or gained an exemption before attending the assessment.
We regularly run the course in Sheffield, but can run the course at other venues if desired.
Beyond the Edge also provide the Outdoor First Aid course required for your assessment. Our range of CPD courses may also help in preparation for assessment.
