WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

This is a free event for MTA members, we plan to meet for a coffee and snack at the Clova Hotel.  Afterwards the plan is to head up towards the Loch Brandy area to do assesment conditions Night Navigation.  For those looking for something less formal, their will be an option to practice micro navigation as darkness falls.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

Usual kit for being out and about on the hills in Autum, including a good headtorch and spare.

1:25,000 map of Glen Clova (OS 388 or copy)

CATERING/FOOD

Food and drink to keep you going until mid evening

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS

Holds Winter ML, RCI and other outdoor activity/Heath and Safety qualifications, and Regional Coordinator for NE Highland for MTA.
