Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
About
A Split Course Format
Our ML Training courses are fully residential and are run over 6 days but split over three weekends, which can reduce the time you need to take off work. The details are as follows:
Weekend 1 - 6 & 7 September
Weekend 2 - 20 & 21 September
Weekend 3 - 4 & 5 October
To complete the course candidates are required to attend all three weekends.
