WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
A peer led evening workshop of night navigation for those wanting to practice and refresh skills in poor visibility (January New Moon). There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss navigation techniques and strategies, to share tips and experience, and for networking.
The workshop takes place in a lowland environment with areas of open access (primarily grassland and woodland) but will be of interest to all walk leaders (qualified and trainees).
Meet by 6.45 pm in layby by the Chuch on Bradenham Wood Lane. We will aim to finish by 9.45 pm.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
Outdoor kit appropitate for weather on the evening. Map - OS Explorer 172 Chiltern Hills East - compass, watch and headtorch.
Shout if you would like to borrow a map or compass, we will have some spares on the night.
CATERING/FOOD
Bring your own flask and snack as required.
