WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
This is a peer led event that will bring out the best in your knowledge of navigating your way around contours. Re-entrants and spurs will be the theme of the day but we will also be practicing other areas of navigation.
This is not a teaching event as such as there will be a presumption that you already have some knowledge of contours. That being said, this event is up to anyone who holds a walking qualification whether that be trainee or qualified.
This is an event being hosted by both Central and Northern Scotland regions so is also an opportunity to grow your social network within MTA.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
All equiment expected for spending a day on the hills. When we meet we can agree what emergency kit to take between us as a group
CATERING/FOOD
We will be away from the cars for the day so please make sure you have all snacks and food you need for the day. Along with any water and other beverages.
WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS
This is a joint peer led workshop between North and Central Scotland regions so James and Sean, regional coordinators, will be there to facilitate.

Please only book in if you intend to attend the event. We understand that things can change in people's lives so please do let us know asap if your plans change and you can no longer attend. This opens up opportunites for other members.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT
Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for the workshop provider to complete the event in the system and assign you your CPD, thank you.
