This workshop will be hosted by Mountain Training Scotland for their providers of both the Skills Courses and the Qualification Courses.
Good crag selection and managment is often key to a sucessuful session. However not everything always goes to plan and so as instructors and coaches we need to have the ability to problem solve as well. During this one day workshop we will look at good practice for crag selection, crag preparation (rigging climbs for groups) and managment plus what we might do when things dont go quite to plan! We will look at both how we might train and assess these skills and decision making on courses.
The day will be part fronted up by Mountain Training Scotland Staff and part by participants, information of any preparation needed prior to the workshop will be sent out to participants.
The day will be split between indoors and outdoors, please bring appropriate out kit for the weather, climbing equipment for single pitch climbing and a packed lunch.
Please note the refund rules for this workshop.
