WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Mountain Training Association have teamed up with the Met Office to provide this specialist weather workshop specifically to support the syllabi of Mountain Training's qualifications as well as enhancing the knowledge of qualified leaders and instructors in their ability to apply information gained from available forecast information, practically whilst planning and dynamically whilst out in the hills and mountains.

The workshop is being run by Dr. Mike Reading, Senior Operational Meteorologist from the Met Office in Aberdeen and Colin McAllister, Learning Consultant from the Met Office.
This is a classroom based workshop. Please bring a notepad and pen.
Tea and Coffee is inclusive in the price along with lunch. If you have any dietary requirements please contact the office prior to the event.
The centre doesn't open until 9am so please allow some time for the trainers to set up for the workshop. Please arrive for a 9:30am start.
This workshop needs a minimum of 4 bookings to run. Attendees will be notified of cancellations or changes to the workshop 2 weeks before the date of the workshop. Attendees will receive a full refund or will have the option to transfer their booking to another available date.
If you are unable to attend the workshop, if cancellations are received up to 6 weeks before the workshop you will receive a full refund; less than 6 weeks but more than 4 weeks before the course: 50% refund; less than 4 weeks before the course date: no refund will be issued.
