This short online MTA session forms part of a free series of informative and interactive webinars designed to help provide continued support for members during the current lockdown. All sessions are hosted by experts in their fields and/or Mountain Training Course Directors that run training and assessment courses. The majority of our hosts are also current MTA workshop providers. All hosts are generously volunteering their time to run these sessions for members.
Mike Raine of 'Nature of Snowdonia' is a Mountain Training course director and runs a number of environmental workshops in North Wales for members.
1 - Why Environment. This will be a exploration of the role of a leader and there relationship to the places in which they are leading
2 - This will be some help and advice on how to learn about the environment, which may help you with your teaching too.
3 - Some ideas, techniques and case studies on how to get your group more inspired about the environment.
We anticipate these sessions will last for up to one hour.
