THIS SESSION IS FOR APPROVED COURSE DIRECTORS/TUTORS ONLY.
A mountain leader or mountaineering instructor is required to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the upland environment. But at what level should this be? What is essential knowledge, ‘need to know’ and what is further knowledge, ‘nice to know’? Join Mike for a conversation around this topic. Bring a pen and paper as there will be fun quizzes for you to do too.
Webinar host: Mike Raine is an experienced trainer and assessor of mountain leaders and mountaineering instructors. He works at Plas y Brenin and is also the author of the recently updated Nature of Snowdonia book.
