The day will be a mixture of classroom based teaching, fun quizzes and time spent outside seeing what we can find. You will be given a handout and lots of tips on how to remember certain species and their uses, along with some folk lore and quirky tales to tell your clients.
This session will take place on-site at Derwent Hill outdoor centre in the morning, followed by an afternoon session outdoors. You will have an opportunity to collect your packed lunch from the Centre at lunch time.
