Big Wall Workshop

Planning a big wall trip or asked to deliver sessions to clients leading up to theirs? Or Aiding, jugging, hauling and living on a portaledge. Basic skills to get you on the big walls.

This workshop will get some basic techniques nailed and get your systems sorted.

Equipment

Standard climbing equipment including your rack. Wear approach shoes or similar (they may get a bit scuffed up).. lanyards/daisy chains if you have them (I will have a few sets to loan).. same with etriers/ladders if you have them bring them..standard and assisted braking belay device (grigri or similar). If you have any kit you'd like advice on or to show off/ practice using on the day then please bring it along. 

I will have a selection of gear including pegs, hooks, copper heads and bolting kit.. large cams and other off-width protection to show and tell. There will be a portaledge to have a play with too

Additional Information

Indoor or outdoor venue dependant on weather/covid situation on the day so please come prepared for both.
