Mark Davies is a WMCI, IRATA Level 3 and Work at Height Consultant.  He has taught PPE Inspection, height access and rescue training for over 20years.

Jim Walton is a MCI, Appointed Person for Crane lift operations, Civil Engineer and has been involved with legislation for 20 yrs.

We (mainly Mark) will cover what we think professional Instructors need to know about:

1. Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
2. Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
3. Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 (PPE)
4. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAH)
5. The Work at Height Regulations Amendment (climbing and caving (yuk...)) 2007

What would be really great is that if you have a couple of Questions (or Myths busted) you'd want answered then please email them to Jim beforehand at jimwaltonmia@gmail.com then we can make sure that they are covered during the talk. Can we get them in before Monday morning please. It would also REALLY REALLY help if you could title your email "Legislation" as Jim can then set up a rule and folder in his Gmail.
