Saturday 23rd April 2020 - Full Day
High Ropes Rescue Training
Workshop Content
This workshop will introduce the Work at Height regulations and how they affect us as instructors.
We will explore options for avoidance of common incidents when working with groups on ropes courses and we will workshop ideas and techniques for rescues using planned and improvised systems.
All levels of knowledge and experience are welcome to attend and the general idea is to learn from each other during the session.
Equipment
We will be inside for some of the day but mostly outdoors so come equipped for weather. If you have any equipment that you would like to practice using or introduce to the group then please bring it along. Harness, helmet, lanyard (ideally double) and sense of humour will be required as a minimum! There will be a variety of specialist equipment available to play with on the day.
