This workshop will be delivered by Pete Stacey (MCI & IML), Alan Halewood (WMCI and IML) and Nic Crawshaw (WMCI, IML and IRATA Level 3 Trainer).

Pete has presented similar workshopsat AMI AGMs and recent TA workshops with Joby Davis; he has also presented simialr workshops for BAIML at their AGMs, and in 2019 was a presenter at the ABC Walls and Mountaineering Ireland Walls Conferences.  He is an inspector for AALS, as well as for Adventuremark and Learning Outside the Classroom schems.  He is a TA for a number of walls, activity centres and ropes coursees and is also a member of the BMC expert witness register for civil and criminal litigation.

Alan is an Independent MCI. A NICAS coach, Alan has been on the management team of two climbing walls and now provides advice and training to a large number of walls in Scotland.  He helps provide Train the Trainer courses for Mountain Training Scotland and is involved with a full spectrum of Mountain Training Courses upto and including the Coaching Awards and the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor.

Nic is the TA and Operations Manager at EICA Ratho and acts as a Technical Adviser for other climbing walls, adventure activity providers and schools across Scotland and abroad.  He is actively involved in the IRATA scheme as a trainer.

Pete, Alan and Nic are all part of the NICAS Technical Expert Team and offer a wide range of Mountain Training Courses.
