Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
About
This is a split weekend training course.
Weekend 1 is 17/18/19th July
Weekend 2 is 31st July 1/2nd August
We meet at 10 am on both Fridays.
The course involves a wild camp on the expedition on weekend 2.
Residential accommodation may be available depending on your circumstance and how soon you book onto the course. Several candidates are non residential.
At present there is still a block on ML Courses which involve overnight stays..... watch this space see if things change with lockdown relaxationsin the future
