This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of coaching for rock climbing. We will use the coaching qualifications syllabus as a base for the sessions and will look at: the coaching skills and knowledge of what and how to coach more effectively; the technical competence to manage and deliver an enjoyable and stimulating session, usually to a group of individuals; and the culture of reflective practice in striving for continual improvement. 

We will head to a local climbing wall to run through different coaching models and coaching opportunities available to us in a climbing session. As well as understanding how to help others you will also get tips and techniques for improving your own climbing.
