WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

- Designed for the mountain leaders, mountaineering instructors and hill and moorland leaders

- Also useful for International mountain leaders and lowland leaders too

- Develop an understanding of glaciation at a global & regional scale

- Identify glacial landforms of erosion and deposition

- Learn how glaciers move and shape the landscape

- Develop a case study of glaciation in north Wales

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

Normal hill kit for a day in the monutain environment. Camera, binoculars, Pen & paper / notebook

CATERING/FOOD

Please bring a packed lunch and a drink. We will start and end at the cafe where refreshments are available to purchase

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS

Qualified IML and ecologist by training. Jim has extensive experience in teaching in the outdoors to students, teachers and instructors.
