There are significant connections between the work of the International Mountain Leader and the environmental sustainability agenda. The workshop will explore IML-relevant issues of impact, adaption, and opportunity in the context of the living planet emergency that we face. Darren Axe is an International Mountain Leader and ‘Green Lancaster’ Manager at Lancaster University. He specialises in education and engagement within the environmental sustainability agenda. His work as an IML and sustainability educator takes a co-curricular and systems-thinking approach. Comfortable indoor/outdoor clothing and footwear for a short walk on trails near to the venue. Laptop or notepad for the indoor workshop component. |
