BAIML Annual Conference & AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the association will be held at the Emergency Planning College, The Hawkhills, Easingwold, York, YO61 3EG on Saturday 25^th November 2023 at 8.30pm. All BAIML members are welcome to attend the AGM. Dinner will be served at 18.30 - i.e. before the AGM.

The AGM meal, CPD sessions (workshops) and accommodation are to be booked through the Candidate Management System (CMS), there are no exceptions. Any meals or accommodation required for guests must be booked through the office as outlined below. We must know details of anyone who is attending in any way.

On Friday 24^th November there will be an opportunity to attend a Q&A with the Board at 8pm.

Please read the following points before booking:

• Accommodation is limited, this will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
• You can attend the conference and AGM as a day visitor. This may suit those who live closer or those who wish to find their own accommodation.
• There is no overnight camping/motorhomes/sleeping in cars or vans allowed on site.
• The nearest railway station is York (Approximately 12 miles from the EPC)
• The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford (Approximately 37 miles from the EPC)
• All bookings are to made through CMS.
• Please take the time to read through the Options available to you before booking.
• Workshops that are being conducted outdoors all day will have packed lunches provided.
• Workshops that are being conducted outdoors for half of the day will have lunch at the EPC.

Please take time to read these instructions on booking;

1. Review the sessions below, decide which CPD you would like to do.

2. Now book your accommodation to suit, ensuring you have the correct night and day/half day CPD options.

3. Then add the CPD you would like to your basket.

4. Please make sure your workshops do not clash.

Workshops and CPD their value

All workshops have been accredited with either Core or Peripheral points. Once your workshops have been completed, the CPD points shall be accredited to your account automatically after the event. Points are only accredited to Full and Associate members of the Association.

If you have any questions or queries about CPD workshops then please direct these to the team in Siabod Cottage where a member of the Customer Service team shall be able to advise you further and help you along with any booking queries, or contact the provider of these workshops directly.

If a particular workshop has very low bookings, it may not run, and you will be offered an alternative.
