Full day workshop covering the essentials of mountain weather, from broadscale weather charts, how forecasts are made, to local mountain effects, reading the sky, and weather based route planning. |
The workshop is being run by professional Met Office trainers; Dr. Mike Reading, Senior Operational Meteorologist at the Aberdeen Met Office, with a special interest in mountain weather. Also a keen climber and mountaineer.
