The  workshop will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm Sunday 22nd September, with an online Zoom session from 7.00 to 8.30pm on Wednesday 18th September.

Attendees are encouraged to use public transport where possible.

This workshop is open to providers, course directors and any course staff involved in the delivery of Mountain Training climbing leadership awards; Indoor Climbing Assistant, Climbing Wall Instructor,  Climbing Wall Development Instructor,  Rock Climbing Instructor  and Rock Climbing Development Instructor, as well as Rock SKills scheme who wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery of these award schemes.

This workshop will include an online session on the Wednesday 20th September to maximise practical time, and reduce time spent together indoors and the potential risk of COVID infection.

Sessions throughout the workshop will include an update on the Mountain Training awards pathway; practical activities and discussion of any issues related to the delivery of the climbing schemes, exploring any relevant topics that have arisen from candidate feedback and quality assurance visits, and a discussion on the use of CMS.

The workshop is non-residential. The cost doesn't include lunch or refreshments.

This workshop needs a minimum of 6 bookings in order to run. Online booking will be closed one week prior to the workshop, after this date please contact the office if you wish to book onto this workshop.
