Aim - to provide an overview and update of the current RCI syllabus, while,addressing specific syllabus areas as guided by attendees

...so please come with some ideas of specific syllabus areas you would like to cover.  If you are unsure take a look at the Skills Checklist on the RCI webpage.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

Clothing and equipment for a day at the crag in prevailing conditions.  Personal climbing kit to lead a group.  Bring a work rack if you have one.

We will supply ropes and some rack.

CATERING/FOOD

Please bring a packed lunch.

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS

Gavin Kelly is a Rock Climbing Instructor course director with over 10 years experience delivering the scheme.  he is a full time instructor, delivering training for Mountain Training and the BMC as well as a range of clients to his company Ibex Outdoor.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

Confirmation of the course will be made by email 2 weeks prior to the course.

Cancellation by us - you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation by you - More than 28 days before the course start date; you will receive a full refund.  within 28 days or less of teh course start date; course fee is non-refundable.  if we can fill a cancelled course place we may offer a refund at our discretion.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT

Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
